Despite my three dogs, four goats, and a barn cat, he has become my constant companion, since he lives in my writing room. He also moves about the house in a smaller, runabout bird cage, and gets time outside in the sun also, and enjoys shower steam in the bathroom. I don’t think the market for exotics should be encouraged in any way. But since these birds are so long lived, they are out there, and need love and attention. I am doing what I can!
